Celtic manager Wilfied Nancy launched into a passionate defence of his difficult start in Scotland in his press conference on Friday.

Since taking over from interim boss Martin O'Neill, Nancy has only won two of his seven matches in charge of the club.

He lost all of his first four games on the touchline, with fans instantly losing faith and calling for another change in the dugout.

It was even tipped that O'Neill could return to Celtic if Nancy was to be sacked, while the Frenchman bit back at the media.

With Celtic still three points behind leaders Hearts in the Scottish Premiership following a loss to Motherwell on Tuesday evening, things remain extremely bleak for Nancy.

But on Friday, he appeared to finally grow fed up with all the negative talk around his future and tactics since his appointment ahead of Saturday's home clash with bitter rivals Rangers.
