So too was Arsenal’s run of eight clean sheets in a row, which surpassed the record of seven held by George Graham and his side in 1987.

Only one team remains ahead of the Gunners, with Mikel Arteta looking to seal an undisputed English record.

The Gunners stand alongside Liverpool, who put together a similarly astonishing run in 1920, over 125 years ago.

It shows just how difficult it is for sides to put together such an impressive bit of form, with only Liverpool in 2020 and Chelsea in 2005 getting anywhere close, with both hitting seven games.
