Chelsea were held to a 2-2 draw by Qarabag in an away match in Azerbaijan on Wednesday evening.

Estevao Willian opened the scoring for the Blues in Baku with a well-taken finish, assisted by his fellow Brazilian Andrey Santos. Qarabag then took the lead with Marko Jankovic converting a penalty after Jorrel Hato handled the ball in his own box. Early in the second half, Chelsea found an equaliser through Alejandro Garnacho, who made an immediate impact with one of his first touches.
