Former Manchester United and Real Madrid legend  Cristiano Ronaldo reckons Arsenal have the credentials to clinch the Premier League crown this campaign.The Gunners have endured heartbreak as runners-up in each of the previous three seasons and find themselves battling for top spot once again.

Following the opening ten fixtures, Mikel Arteta's squad currently boast a six-point advantage over their closest title challengers Manchester City, whilst defending champions Liverpool trail by seven points in third place.

Newly-promoted Sunderland sit level on points with Arne Slot's outfit and represent the Gunners' next opponents when top-flight football resumes at the weekend.

Arsenal have shipped merely three goals in the Premier League this term and suffered just one defeat - the 1-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield in late August.
