Tottenham Hotspur find themselves under the spotlight for the wrong reasons once again after suffering back-to-back home defeats in the Premier League last weekend. The Lilywhites fell short against local rivals Chelsea, who completely outperformed them in every department. It was arguably one of the poorest displays from Thomas Frank’s side this season.

Despite the disappointing result, it is still early days for Frank as he looks to guide his team through a difficult period at N17. The Danish tactician’s pragmatic approach has been identified as a possible reason behind Spurs’ struggles, but there are deeper issues within the squad that must be addressed in the coming months.

One of the most pressing concerns is the lack of a fit and reliable centre-forward. Richarlison has struggled for consistency, failing to score in his last nine appearances for the Lilywhites in all competitions. Randal Kolo Muani is also yet to fully settle at N17 and has not had enough opportunities to make a significant impact up front.
