Trent Alexander-Arnold has delivered a touching, straightforward message about his return to Liverpool for Tuesday evening's Champions League encounter with Real Madrid. The defender could come face-to-face with the Reds for the first time since his departure this evening (Tuesday).

The 27-year-old sealed his switch from Liverpool to Real Madrid last summer when his Anfield contract expired. The Reds pocketed a transfer fee as Real stumped up to finalise the deal ahead of the summer's Club World Cup.
