Manchester United will receive a midfield injury boost after the November international break.

Sekou Kone, who has been sidelined since August following a nasty injury, is set to finally play for the U21s following the two-week break, as per The Manchester Evening News.

“Manchester United midfielder Sekou Kone is set to be available to play again after the November international break.”

The Malian had to be stretchered off during the National League Cup tie against Tamworth following a collision in the box. The tie was subsequently called off due to no replacement ambulance being available at the venue.

It was later confirmed that the midfielder had fractured his eye socket. As a result, he has had to bide his time before returning to the pitch.

As previously relayed by The Peoples Person, the 19-year-old had returned to training in October, but that was non-contact.

Now, Travis Binnion has confirmed that Sekou Kone has rejoined full training and he expects the youngster to be ready to step out on to the pitch after the November break.
