Barcelona goalkeeper and former Arsenal star Wojciech Szczesny has accused Manchester United of agreeing to sell an ‘unstoppable’ player.

Szczesny was pleased to see United outcast Marcus Rashford join him at the Nou Camp last summer having played against the ‘special’ forward while he was in the Premier League.

While Barcelona signed Rashford on a season-long loan deal, Manchester United have already agreed to sell him on a permanent transfer next summer for around £30m.

That appears to be shrewd business from the La Liga champions as Rashford has enjoyed a bright start to his spell at Barca, scoring five goals in all competitions.

Szczesny believes ‘excellent’ Rashford ‘deserves’ even more goals given his contribution to the team and described his Barcelona teammate as a ‘complete player’.
