Eddie Howe is dealing with a number of injury concerns, while summer signing Yoane Wissa remains unavailable ahead of Newcastle United's clash at West Ham this afternoon. However, there is hope regarding Lewis Hall.

One confirmed absence is Wissa, who is currently battling a knee injury. As a result, his Newcastle debut, following a summer move from Brentford, will be delayed. Meanwhile, other players, for both sides, are likely to undergo late fitness tests to determine their availability.

Hall is among them - with Howe revealing in his pre-match press conference that there was hope he would train with the squad on Friday. "He's very close. He's hopefully training with us today for the first time," Howe said.

"He's worked really hard and in good shape, but we will have to see how he does when he's back with the group."

William Osula is also a doubt as he continues to nurse a knock and may undergo a late fitness test.
