Liverpool fans serenaded Arne Slot with a song of support before they’d even scored their opening goal against Aston Villa on Saturday.

The Reds finally won a Premier League game after Mohamed Salah and Ryan Gravenberch sent the Anfield outfit ahead.

From the moment that Salah netted the opening goal of the game, Liverpool were the ones on top, but even before then, the Reds’ fans proved that they still had faith in the Premier League-winning manager.

Times have been tough for Slot and his men lately, which is why the fans chanting his name against the Villans will have likely helped settle his nerves.

Liverpool’s Premier League win last season took almost everyone by surprise, with Slot defying the odds.
