Liverpool put an end to their four-match losing streak in the Premier League with a deserved win over Aston Villa at Anfield on Saturday evening.

Mohamed Salah broke the deadlock, capitalising on a clanger from Villa's goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez during first-half injury time, before Ryan Gravenberch's deflected shot just shy of the hour mark secured a 2-0 victory.

This result propels Arne Slot's team back into the top four, trailing seven points behind the league leaders Arsenal.
