Aaron Ramsey has called time on his nightmare spell with Mexican club Pumas after just six appearances.

The 34-year-oldjoined the Liga MX side back in July as a free agent after his Cardiff City deal expired.

A hamstring injury has restricted Ramsey’s availability but he has not played since September and, according to ESPN, is ready to terminate his contract.

While he has struggled to make an impact on the pitch, Ramsey has endured personal heartache in his personal life following the disappearance of his dog.

Halo, who moved to Mexico with Ramsey and the rest of his family in the summer, was first reported as missing on October 9.
