Arne Slot has been slammed for how his Liverpool side moved on from their last victory. The Reds have lost six of their previous seven games.

Liverpool had hoped to bounce back when they faced Brentford last weekend but found themselves trailing inside five minutes at the Gtech Community Stadium. The Premier League match ended 3-2.

Slot's side then fell to defeat in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday at the hands of Crystal Palace, losing 3-0. They have been beaten in six of their last seven matches but did claim one victory during this time, a 5-1 Champions League win against Frankfurt.

It is the club and manager Slot's attitude after this sole victory that ex-Everton defender Joleon Lescott thinks has caused Liverpool's downfall. He believes they were left with a false sense of security after this midweek European win.
