Tonight’s Wor Flags display though tonight has focus on a bit of a different and more poignant theme.

Wor Flags official statement via their social media – 29 October 2025:

‘Despite being almost a fortnight until remembrance day, this year’s congested fixture list sees Newcastle United pay tribute to our brave service people tonight, against Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup.

With this in mind, we will be marking the occasion with our own display of two banners as we reflect upon those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.

We will remember them.’
