Jeremy Monga is being monitored by Manchester United, with the 16-year-old Leicester wonderkid one of the hottest prospects in English football – and he’s already worked with Red Devils legend Ruud van Nistelrooy.

TBR Football revealed on Monday morning that Manchester City were leading the race for Monga, but there are a whole host of clubs also interested – Ruben Amorim’s side included, alongside the likes of Tottenham, Newcastle, and Chelsea.

The 16-year-old became the second-youngest player ever to feature in a Premier League match in 2025, with Ethan Nwaneri of Arsenal taking the number one slot.

Monga, of course, featured for the Foxes under Ruud van Nistelrooy’s reign, and the Dutchman has already been impressed with his qualities.

Speaking on various occasions about Monga, Van Nistelrooy had the following to say on the youngster.

He told the Premier League after a difficult loss to Newcastle: “You could see glimpses of his great qualities. He’s a great winger and has speed. He’s a fantastic talent, a great boy. He deserved these minutes and hopefully, more to come.”
