Manchester United have confirmed the four players who are vying to win the club’s Player of the Month award for October.
United enjoyed fairytale October
Following a patchy start to the 2025/26 season, United enjoyed a dream October, which saw Ruben Amorim and his players record three Premier League victories out of a possible three.
United kickstarted the month with a 2-0 win over Sunderland. They followed that up with a huge 2-1 triumph against Liverpool at Anfield. It was the first time United had beaten Anfield in Merseyside since 2016.
More recently, the Red Devils cruised to a convincing 4-2 win against Brighton.
As it stands, United are sixth in the Premier League, six points adrift of table leaders Arsenal. October proved to be a drastic turnaround for the team and the hope is that it will continue for as long as possible.
A number of stars did well throughout the month, but only four have been shortlisted for the October Player of the Month prize. These are Senne Lammens, Matthijs de Ligt, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
