Taylor Hinds of Arsenal and Lucia Kendall of Aston Villa are both named in England’s starting line-up to face Australia in a friendly on Tuesday evening.

Both were named to the Lionesses senior squad for the first time this international camp.

And after much controversy about her starting position and whether her future for England lay at right back, Manchester United captain Maya Le Tissier looks set to partner Esme Morgan in the centre of defence, with Hinds and Lucy Bronze at full back.

Alex Greenwood and Jess Carter – who started against Brazil on Saturday – are both rested, but are named on the bench.

Hannah Hampton returns in goal after Khiara Keating made her debut at the weekend.

And Chelsea’s Aggie Beever-Jones will lead the line having picked up an award for being the year’s top goalscorer last week. She will partner Alessia Russo of Arsenal, with Ella Toone and Beth Mead providing the service, and Keira Walsh wearing the armband in the middle of the park.
