Sepp van den Berg has shared his delight after helping Brentford get one over on his former club, Liverpool. The Reds fell to a 3-2 defeat away at the Bees on Saturday evening, as they suffered their fourth Premier League loss in a row.

Arne Slot’s men did score late goals in each half through Milos Kerkez and Mohamed Salah to twice halve the deficit. But it was another poor day for the reigning Premier League champions as their recent struggles continued.

Liverpool came up against three of their former players in Keith Andrews’ starting XI, with Jordan Henderson and Caoimhin Kelleher both facing the Reds for the first time since leaving the club in the summers of 2023 and 2025 respectively.
