Theo Walcott has suggested that Mohamed Salah is feeling the absence of his former right-hand man, Trent Alexander-Arnold. Since joining Liverpool in 2017, Salah has always had the England star as his right-back, until this season.

After two decades at Anfield, Alexander-Arnold made the move to Real Madrid this past summer. In response, Arne Slot brought in Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen, who was expected to compete with Conor Bradley for the right-back position.

However, twelve games into the season, neither player has managed to secure a regular starting spot. Now, the Dutchman faces another spell on the sidelines after pulling his hamstring in the 5-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.
