Manchester City have provided an update on their new North Stand as part of the Etihad Stadium expansion.

The club are in the process of adding 7,000 new seats to the stand by extending its second tier.

It will see the capacity of the ground increased to 60,000 ahead of next season.

Meanwhile, two new bar areas will also be opened in the North Stand, the Cross Bar and City Hall.

The second of those has caused the club to move existing season ticket holders from the area where it will be located.

City have announced that they will be relocated to new seats in the expanded North Stand.

Supporters will be given an option to take up seats in the new safe standing area in the stand.

A total of 3,000 rail seats have been added as part of the ground's expansion.
