Arsenal are currently sat top of the Premier League table, as they aim to end their 22-year run without lifting the league title under Mikel Arteta – and the Spaniard has made great in-roads to doing that by quelling their biggest issue which nobody is talking about.

Arsenal have finished second in each of their last three seasons in the Premier League, being ousted by Manchester City at the death in both the 2022-23 and 2023-24 campaigns, before a half-hearted attempt at chasing Liverpool ended in dismay last time out.

It’s an itch that Mikel Arteta will want to get rid of, with the Spanish boss having failed to win a trophy for over five years since Arsenal’s FA Cup win in 2020.
