Liverpool silenced their critics with a dazzling performance, thrashing Eintracht Frankfurt and putting an end to a painful four-match losing streak.

Coming into the game on the back of their worst run of form under Arne Slot, the last thing Liverpool needed was to go behind after 26 minutes due to Rasmus Kristensen's low shot, aided by the far post. However, the Reds bounced back, with Hugo Ekitike scoring on his return to Frankfurt to level the match.

Quick goals from Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate - the latter's being a powerful header - gave Liverpool a comfortable lead over their hosts before half-time. Unfortunately for Frankfurt, Slot's men weren't finished.
