Liverpool ended a run of four successive defeats with an emphatic Champions League win at Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday evening. Despite falling behind to a Rasmus Kristensen strike, the Reds were well ahead by the interval through goals from Hugo Ekitike, Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate before Cody Gakpo and Dominik Szoboszlai netted in the second half to seal a 5-1 triumph.

The result means Arne Slot's side have now taken six points from nine in their first three games in the competition with their biggest win of the season.
