Atlético de Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has sent a snipe to Arsenal, after they failed to provide hot water for the Spanish side this week.

Marca have a brief interview with the Atlético president in London today ahead of their clash with Arsenal in the Champions League this evening.

The Spanish side trained at the Emirates this week ahead of the game. UEFA rules allow visiting teams to train at the home stadium before Champions League games.

Atlético staff were forced to alert Arsenal that there was no hot water in their dressing room after that training session. The Gunners then realised there was a similar issue in the home dressing room as well.

The lack of hot water forced Atlético to finish training 15 minutes earlier than planned. They then headed back to their hotel for showers instead. Reports in Spain then stated that Atlético were left angry at the situation.

Arsenal later apologised for this, explaining that there had been a hot water failure at the stadium that was now being worked on. Whether it is fixed for tonight’s game remains to be seen.
