Chelsea appear to have finally found a new club for Axel Disasi. The 27-year-old defender, who the Blues signed from Monaco for £38.5million in the summer of 2023, faces an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge, having failed to earn a place in Enzo Maresca's side.

Disasi was shipped out on loan to Aston Villa in the January transfer window, where he made 10 appearances. The France international featured at centre-half and right-back during his stay, helping Unai Emery's side finish sixth in the Premier League.

Despite Disasi's best efforts, Aston Villa chose not to pursue his signature at the end of the season. football.london understands that numerous English top-flight clubs were interested in signing the Frenchman in the summer, including Bournemouth, who held talks over a loan move.

Instead, the Cherries opted to fork out £13m on Veljko Milosavljevic from Red Star Belgrade and bring in Alex Jimenez on loan from AC Milan. Chelsea were unable to find Disasi a new club, and he is still training away...
