Jamie Carragher has urged Liverpool boss Arne Slot to bench Mohamed Salah for the Reds' forthcoming fixtures following their disappointing defeat to Manchester United at Anfield. Carragher, speaking on The Gary Neville Podcast, suggested that Salah should be benched for Liverpool's upcoming Champions League encounter with Eintracht Frankfurt and their Premier League away game against Brentford next Saturday.

"I think we're at that stage now where Mo Salah shouldn't be a guaranteed starter every week," he said. "I do think this is a real conundrum for the manager going forward."
