In making a defence for his team's 2-0 defeat at Burnley, Leeds United boss Daniel Farke only served to highlight what has been the biggest fear for supporters since the start of the season.

The transfer window closed with concerns Leeds had not done enough up top to strengthen their attacking options and in particular in adding more of a goal threat to the team.

A loss at one of their relegation rivals and favourites for relegation, without a goal being scored, is only going to strengthen the defence for those of that belief.

Leeds certainly threw plenty at Burnley, with one report suggesting it was the most crosses into the box by a team in the Premier League this season, with 47.
