Chelsea have several reasons to keep an eye on Strasbourg.

The Ligue 1 side – who are also owned by BlueCo – act as a sister club to Chelsea, with the Blues already sending talents such as Andrey Santos on loan to develop last season, with the likes of Mike Penders and Kendry Paez at Strasbourg for this campaign.

Diego Moreira is another Strasbourg player with a connection to Chelsea – and Todd Boehly might think about triggering a clause after the Belgian dazzled against PSG on Friday.

Diego Moreira sends message to Chelsea with superb display in PSG 3-3 Strasbourg

Chelsea – who will sign Emanuel Emegha from Strasbourg in 2026 – took Moreira on a free transfer in July 2023 after his contract with Benfica expired.

The Belgium international was then loaned to Lyon for the 2023/24 campaign before Chelsea sold him to Strasbourg for £1.7m in August 2024 – having only ever given the winger 45 minutes of football.

Now, it appears the 21-year-old is starting to blossom.
