Mohamed Salah has enjoyed an international break to remember. The Liverpool forward scored a brace for Egypt in their 3-0 victory over Djibouti which booked the Pharaohs' place at next summer’s World Cup. Such goals also saw the forward become the all-time highest goalscorer in African World Cup qualification.

While the 33-year-old was then rested for Egypt’s clash with Guinea-Bissau, he still travelled home to cheer on his team-mates and lead the celebrations on home soil as the African outfit look forward to only a fourth ever appearance at the finals.

Salah has since uploaded pictures on social media of himself both working hard in the gym and enjoying the sea and sun abroad, ahead of reporting back to Merseyside.
