Bukayo Saka showed his genuine character during a brilliant moment with Morgan Rogers following England's commanding 5-0 victory over Latvia that confirmed their World Cup qualification for next summer's tournament in North America. The Arsenal winger featured for 61 minutes in Riga on Tuesday night and provided an assist after netting a stunning goal against Wales just five days prior.
Anthony Gordon and Eberechi Eze both found the net on Tuesday evening alongside a Harry Kane double and an unfortunate own goal from Maksims Tonisevs. Saka delivered the crucial pass to Kane for his opening strike just before the break, before making way for Jarrod Bowen quarter of an hour into the second half.
The winger desperately required game time during this international window following his recent recovery from a hamstring injury, with Gunners boss Mikel Arteta undoubtedly thrilled that he appears to have regained match fitness whilst steering clear of further setbacks.
