Arsenal and Tottenham have both been linked with entering the race to land one of Real Madrid's most promising talents, according to reports.

The Gunners have previously benefited from dealing with Los Blancos when, following a loan spell, they captured Martin Odegaard on a permanent deal in August 2021. The Norwegian has since gone on to become the club's captain and one of Mikel Arteta's most important players.

But now attention has turned to another Bernabeu prospect. Turkish midfielder Arda Guler joined Madrid on a six-year contract in July 2023 from Fenerbahce for £17milllion. The 20-year-old has made 10 appearances for Xabi Alonso's side so far this season, and already has three goals and as many assists to his name.

Despite a solid return, the Turkish international is playing out of his preferred attacking midfield position and according to Spanish media outlet Grada3, six top European clubs are monitoring his situation closely. They included north London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham, as well as fellow Premier League outfit Newcastle United, AC Milan, and Bundesliga sides Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.
