Florian Wirtz has struggled to fit into Liverpool’s system since joining from Bayer Leverkusen.

The £116 million player was touted as an exceptional player when he joined the Reds in the summer, with German fans and media incredibly high on a talent who had proven his worth with Leverkusen.

However, Wirtz has not exactly shown the star qualities that Liverpool were told of just yet, as he has played poorly along with the majority of the squad so far this season.

Despite this, there are still those who believe he will show his talents, and one of those is former manager Jurgen Klopp.

The 58-year-old, in a recent interview, talked about the player being a ‘once in a century talent’, as Klopp expects the ‘outstanding’ player to bounce back following his slow start.

These comments were strong from the German, but they are not a surprise given the noises that were coming out of the country and his displays in the Champions League.
