Tottenham Hotspur’s long-standing interest in Marc Guehi has stirred fresh whispers again, yet the defender himself remains calm. The 24-year-old keeps his focus, carrying out his duties for Crystal Palace and England with quiet assurance.

Transfer rumours continue to swirl, but Guehi has kept his attention on performances. His displays speak louder than any contract talk. We reported earlier, on 13 September, that Tottenham Hotspur-linked Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi is set to be available, and that prediction grows stronger each week.

Journalist Pete O’Rourke, speaking on the Inside Track podcast, said Guehi refuses to rush his decision about the future. The 25-year-old centre back is letting things unfold naturally, and he knows he controls his next move. His contract at Palace is running down, and O’Rourke believes he will leave on a free transfer next summer.

A January deal might happen, but that seems less likely. For now, he intends to finish his deal and stay sharp for both club and country. O’Rourke added that Liverpool still chase his signature. However, the defender holds all the power.
