Florian Wirtz has made a slow start to life in a Liverpool shirt.

When the transfer window shut and rival fans saw just how many quality players the Reds brought in, many thought that the title race was over before it had even begun.

One of the main reasons for this was because they signed Wirtz, one of the most exciting, attacking young talents in Europe.

Liverpool were crying out for a creative star just like him, so it is no wonder everyone got a little carried away when he was unveiled.

However, with zero goal involvements in nine games for Liverpool, he has not made the impact Reds fans would have desired, with many rival supporters already writing him off.

Ex-Germany star Jurgen Klinsmann is not, however, and believes he will come good, with the former Tottenham striker making a comparison with Newcastle’s new striker, Nick Woltemade.
