Manchester United starlet Ayden Heaven suffered an injury in the England Under-20s clash with Switzerland.

The young Three Lions registered a narrow 1-0 loss at St George’s Park on Friday.

Heaven went down in the first minute and required “extensive treatment.”

The 19-year-old was able to continue but had to be substituted at the break.

Speaking after the game England U20 head coach Ben Futcher said (via BBC Sport): “He picked something up. I don’t think it is too serious but we will have to see how it settles down.”

Heaven completed his transfer from Arsenal to Man United earlier this year.

He has played eight times under United manager Ruben Amorim and impressed with his fantastic talent.

The teenager has looked at home in the left centre-back spot.

He is a proactive defender who loves to step into midfield at times to help his team press the opposition.

He started against Grimsby Town but has played only three minutes in the Premier League this term.

Though he is rated highly by Amorim, the lack of fixtures has really restricted the manager from tweaking his side.
