Liverpool have a number of problems to fix despite sitting second in the Premier League table. Arne Slot's side have not yet had a routine victory this season, even though their seven-game winning streak only ended in late September.

That was courtesy of a last-gasp Crystal Palace goal with Chelsea also snatching the points late on the following week. Those two defeats came either side of a 1-0 loss away at Galatasaray in the Champions League.

Even though maximum points in the Premier League were secured prior to their sixth game, the champions were not at the summit heading into the October international break. Despite being one of the teams beaten by Liverpool in that streak, Arsenal are currently top and the statistics show they should be there.
