Arsenal made it two wins from two in the Champions League as Mikel Arteta’s side beat Olympiacos 2-0 on Wednesday night.

Arsenal started with a win over Athletic Club, kicking off their Champions League campaign with a victory.

The Gunners were back at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night, but it was the same result.

Arsenal’s play was impressive against Olympiacos, but Ally McCoist was in awe before the game even kicked off.

Speaking on TNT Sports (01/10, 8pm), McCoist admitted that he was actually more focused on Arsenal’s bench than the starting XI.

Mikel Arteta was able to name summer signing Cristhian Mosquera, Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze, Jurrien Timber, Declan Rice, Christian Norgaard and Riccardo Calafiori among his substitutes.

Those are some incredibly strong options, and McCoist admitted to being wowed by the players Arteta left out.

McCoist feels Arsenal are now ready to compete in all competitions this season, adding that this is the first time in years that he has seen such a strong Gunners squad.
