Chelsea forward Estêvão Willian is set to launch a social project in his hometown of Franca, São Paulo. 

As reported by Globo Esporte, the teenager will open the Estêvão Willian Institute. The initiative is expected to benefit up to 3,000 children and young people aged between seven and 18.

The official launch of the initiative took place at the City Council of Franca on Monday evening. Construction is scheduled to begin in February 2026, with the inauguration planned for the end of 2027. The exact location will depend on a public call organised by the local government.

The institute will offer free activities across several areas, including education, culture, sport and health. Classes will range from English, computing and tutoring to dance, arts and vocational training courses.

Estêvão, who is 18 and already part of the Brazil national team setup, left Franca as a child to join Cruzeiro before moving to Palmeiras, where he rose through the youth ranks and turned professional. He was sold to Chelsea earlier this year following the Club World Cup, making his long-awaited move to Europe.
