Journalist Pete O’Rourke has revealed what Harry Kane is thinking about potentially leaving Bayern Munich next summer and has handed Tottenham a warning about re-signing the striker.

Kane’s release clause drops to just £57m next summer, and it has been suggested by some sources that Spurs will try to pull on Kane’s heartstrings to convince him to return to N17 next summer.

In fact, Thomas Frank himself has admitted that he would love to have Kane at Tottenham if the England captain is in favour of a return.

Spurs have a first-refusal clause in place for Kane, but they have been warned that it will be far from easy to convince him to return to his former stomping ground.

Over the weekend, the Bayern Munich star broke his silence on the speculation over his future, with Kane insisting that he is happy at the Allianz Arena.
