Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali has given a glimpse into the Magpies dressing room following their Premier League defeat to Arsenal.

The Gunners left it late to claim a dramatic 2-1 win over Newcastle in the Premier League on Super Sunday. Nick Woltemade had given the home side the lead at St James' Park, giving Arsenal an uphill task on Tyneside.

Arsenal turned the tables with late goals from Mikel Merino and Gabriel Magalhaes, which moved the Gunners back into second place in the Premier League table. The gap between Arsenal and leaders Liverpool has now been reduced to two points after the Merseyside outfit lost to Crystal Palace over the weekend.

Tonali, who provided the cross for Woltemade's goal against Arsenal on Sunday, has shared his thoughts on the defeat to the Gunners and drew parallels with a previous loss this season, reports Chronicle Live.

“We are sad now for the result and for the last ten minutes. I want to watch all the game [back], all the 90 minutes because we played a good game,” Tonali told NUTV after the defeat to Arsenal.
