There have been whispers growing around a potential Rangers departure and now a fresh report has added significant weight to the talk. A vague rumour that had been circulating regarding a Ligue 1 side’s interest has seemingly become much clearer, and it could end up being one of Rangers’ biggest summer sales if the figures are to be believed. It all comes as Ibrox seeks to balance the books slightly while also investing in new blood.

According to respected journalist Sacha Tavolieri, French giants LOSC Lille have chosen Hamza Igamane as their preferred replacement for departing forward Jonathan David. Tavolieri claims that a decisive meeting took place earlier in the week where the Moroccan attacker agreed personal terms with the Ligue 1 side. The key next step will be negotiations between Rangers and LOSC to finalise the transfer fee.
