Liverpool are reportedly open to selling striker Darwin Nunez for around €60million (£51m) this summer, despite previously rejecting a higher bid from Saudi Arabia. The 25 year old Uruguayan had a lacklustre season with the newly crowned Premier League champions and is expected to depart Anfield, with talks of a move already underway.

Despite a £60m offer from Al-Nassr in January, Nunez has shown no interest in moving to the Saudi Pro League at this point in his career. However, Italian clubs AC Milan and Napoli are both keen on the former Benfica player, who Corriere dello Sport reports is now valued at around £51m (€60m).

This valuation, similar to Liverpool's initial payment for Nunez in 2022, suggests a change in the club's stance towards selling their No. 9.

Liverpool are also eyeing up a new striker, with Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike on their radar. However, with a record-breaking £116m deal for Florian Wirtz in progress, player sales may be necessary to fund any further acquisitions.
